It’s the heart, afraid of breaking,
That never, learns to dance,
It’s the dream, afraid of waking,
That never, takes the chance,
It’s the one, who won’t be taken,
Who cannot seem to be,
And the soul, afraid of dying,
That never, learns to live.
To Laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived;
This is to have succeeded.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

I think I’m going to start coming here regularly.. I could do with some kicking in the backside for forgetting what my priorities in life are. And what it takes to live a life to its fullest.
Thanks so much..=)
