UMNO big loss I May 24, 2008

From my point of view, the resignation of Mahathir from UMNO is never about disloyalties. As fas as I am concerned, I quit from Kelab UMNO Wellington New Zealand for my own reason too. But I still do love my UMNO friends and I hope they know this too :P

It was more of the rationalities behind our action that matters, or in the other word as ‘niat’. For me, one reason I quit, I would really enjoy working for a bigger community and society for my own personal development and future career and other’s need, in general, rather than fighting and working for personal achievement of others, like UMNO party, as they would start from Kelab UMNO Luar Negara. Other than making up a prettier CVs, I know some people would really like to stick for their own personal satisfaction for power. I’m not sure if there are any who really stick with a purpose to improve Malays, Islams and Malaysia in the future, we are lacking of Malay’s youth who have such vision. My advice, if you do, SPEAK UP! Let’s go against those people who ‘gila kuasa’. But these type of Malays are majority afraid. I know I will be despised or teased for what I have said in this blog.

So, it is all about ‘niat’..

That’s that. I prefer flexibility than rigidity. I also have other experience with Kelab UMNO that come to my disagreements. Not only me, but others too. But we are bunch of Malays who ’suka jaga hati’ aiyee..

As for Mahathir, he has his own rationalities to quit UMNO. But what really surprise me was he wanted Badawi to step down and changed PM to Najib, but I prefer Anuar Ibrahim. Maybe Anuar can be in UMNO, but I don’t want to play in this part. We’ll see. Just a piece of mind.

“Traditionally, it will be Najib, but if Najib does not want and if there are challenges, there will be a struggle between them. If they do that they run the risk of Anwar taking advantage,” he said. – Tun Mahathir.

I think this is going to be very hard for UMNO to really start from the scratch all over again, and my concern is, whether present UMNO’s people willing to do that or not, because Malays are generally ‘terkenal’ for their negative favouritism attitude and laziness, besides other positive attitude mentioned in posted poetry by Usman Awang . Besides, I realized that most Malays who already stay on top would hardly give up what they have and learn to work hard again. In short…ehem, Malays are generally lazy because they used to get all privileges from the Government (I know some may disagree, but I still realized there are some hard working Malays. I was referring to the majority).

I wonder if most Dato’ and Datin in the Ministry Department would be so..’sayang‘ to let go their positions and step down to let others who are more qualified and trusted to take the place. I am sorry to say, I know some of you from my parents. I just wondering what will happen. I neither support any of the sides, yet.

One sign that UMNO is not fighting for Malays, Islam and Malaysia when the politics influence has become a big problem striking the efficiency of mosque and surau.. It is obvious, isn’t it? UMNO is fighting for someone’s personal good.

Dr M: I’m offering alternative for Barisan

Anwar factor lurking on the sidelines says Tun Dr Mahathir

P/S: I understand that even in US and New Zealand may have the same problem. But I am concern about Malaysia and the Malays. We have our own stuff to deal with. So let’s separate the stories. We may learn but we cannot compare by examples, if you understand what I meant.

[Editted] Why would Mahathir choose someone so ‘quiet’ like Najib, similar when Mahathir used to choose Badawi? Why not someone who brave to speak up like Anuar? I’m afraid ‘pisang akan berbuah dua kali’ with Najib.

Terima Kasih Tun Mahathir

    KidPieces.

I took some time to read your blogs. Although not all, just some of it. You’re really are those what people call One in a Million in your own race.

Personally, let’s put it away that malay are lazy or not. Neither are they intelligent or not.

But you really speak up like a true gentlemen. Taking criticism and reply/post it back in a very good way.

I have lot’s of malay friends. And most of them just as bright as you. It would be nice if there is more people who is open minded as you are.

That way, perhaps there wont be any Malaysian Malay, Malaysian Chinese or Malaysian Indian. There would be only MALAYSIAN.

LOl. not sure if that really too much to ask for.

    Peace.
And to other who read this, dont flame. Cause it just show how stupid/idiot you are.
    THanks

    Hi TheCost,

Thanks for stumbling upon my blog. I have so much to learn from others though.

Speaking up – Blogging is one of the alternative, but life in reality offers waaay harder and better than that.

About future Malaysia, I would really like to have one brave, smart, intelligent, rational, firm, dedicated and visionary Malay to rule Malaysia. Honestly, I really don’t mind which party..but I prefer someone who can fight for everybody.

  3. kidpieces Says:

Actually TheCost, it is not too much to ask for. It is not impossible at all to achieve the Malaysians as one. As long as some people among us stop acting insecure and stop practice favouritism or being bias to one another, we all can actually live in harmony.

    Peace!

  4. TheCost Says:

    kidpieces,

    Definitely agree with you.

Just that we are living in a harmony environment, but that’s the outside.

People still fight till their head off in the inside. Hope there’s no more conflicts between races.

Who will rule Malaysia, i dun really mind about it as long as the leader can get us all in a better situation. It will be just the same like right now if the leaders just only care about themself but not the citizens of Malaysia.

    Peace

The fact that selfishness is somehow a human nature, is what concern me. We need a leader who willing to work and go hard to make Malaysia a better place for its citizen. Unfortunately, I dont see that’s happening currently. I don’t see the flame Tun used to share and show with all the nation, in Badawi.

Another thing to consider is the act of favouritism among all of us.

    We really need to change.

  6. TheCost Says:

    Yeap.

But that’s the way of UXX0 running the country right now. Although they always said treat everyone in a fair way. But instead they’ve take it personally when the opposition party take over the five states.

Most of the project stop. Asking the new party in command to continue the project whereas the new party has nothing when they just newly take the seats.

I’ believe the project that involve road building, etc, etc, in using the money of citizen Malaysia. I don see they have any right to hold/held the project should be on the way/half way. It’s suddenly makes ppl felt like the money is theirs but not belong to the citizens of Malaysia.

But I’m happy to see the changes that the Malaysian take. It shows that citizen of Malaysia are growing. A party that rule more then 50 years are facing almost in a lose situation in this recent election. I firmly believe, maybe next 1 or 2 election, there will be a new government.

Some party (UXX0) will just keep blaming the citizen to choose the opposition but never take in any of the consideration why they lost. Perhaps that’s their way of thinking.
Will not accept/take any critic. Just only want to heard something that is nice for them. If they don change, they’ll be fooling with their own stupidity.

  7. kidpieces Says:

    TheCost,

It is hard to achieve the harmonious environment u wish for if the citizen themselves have bad attitudes and mentality. I need to remind that sometimes it not totally the Government or any party faults.

  8. TheCost Says:

    Perhaps it’s not totally.
But they them self played a very important role in it where it could influence others.

A party still plays a major factor in it.

Just seems like its not easy to get a good one

  9. kidpieces Says:

Are you one of those people who like to blame others?

  10. TheCost Says:

i just one of those who just trying to have a better place to live. By pointing out some issue just to hope for some slight changes.

Everyone have their role in this part of community. Sometimes, just me or you taking in or be part of it. It just seem never enough.

    Wouldnt you agree that

  11. kidpieces Says:

I agree with that. But the problems come not only from one part of the party.

The majority (some powerful and weak) = rakyat
    or
The minor (mostly powerful) = bad leading Government.

The majority is hard to be corrected in a flash of time, I know, but the maybe the current bad Government is equally hard to curb too, because of their stubborness, greedy, lust, arrogance, ignorance..

So everyone have their role.. Hey, why don’t you too keep this spirit up on others around you, other blogs and tell me how it is going aite? ;)

You don’t have to be a ‘crazy’ fanatic to be one. Tell me if there’s any problem with it.

    TheCost,

    1) Can we improve thing so fast by blaming and poiting fingers at others?

    2) Why can’t we do something about ourselves for our own good..to make us stronger?

  12. TheCost Says:

    Well. Perhaps you’re right.
Things like this need time; but I do certainly hope there’s a day where everyone is proud to say “I’m a Malaysian”‘I hope we all can live long enough to see this.

Rather then I’m Malay, Chinese, Indian from Malaysia.

People like you are rare. People who cant take criticism are lots. That’s why we are showing a very slow progress in it.

I just hope it could be perhaps speed up where we all have a chance to see it while we still here.

    Sounds good aint it

  13. kidpieces Says:

When I introduce myself to the public other than my name, I am proud to say “I’m a Malaysian”. I know some of my friends who don’t and worse, rather keep themselves away from mingling with other Malaysians too. Not even a pinch of exchanging smiles!

Well, hard to tell if they are from Indonesia, Phillipines, Thai or Cambodia.. but we make peace with each other, so that’s awesome.

I live with criticism throughout my life. I eat, drink, breathe, swallow critics everyday..I mostly realized this eversince I was in primary school. But I’m pretty sure I started earlier. But even so, it still takes time for me to be who I am today.

So it’d takes a longer time to adjust the whole nation.. people like you and me can keep the spirits up, insya Allah. We give what we could.
